Divya Khossla shared on an Instagram story about Alia Bhatt’s new movie Jigra, she penned “Alia’s movie Jigra is a flop, no people are purchased tickets, and all theatres are empty. But Jigra movie makers are spreading fake news of Jigra box office collections are profitable”.
She also shared multiple stories that directly targeted Karan Johar the Dharma Productions because the Jigra movie producer was Karan Johar. She shared, “When you are shamelessly accustomed to stealing what rightfully belongs to others, you will always seek shelter in silence. You will have no voice, no spine”.
Karan Johar replied to Divya by sharing a Story on Instagram: “Silence is the best speech you will ever give to fools”. To which Divya quickly retaliated with another Story: “Truth will always offend fools opposed to it”.

Savi was released in May 2024, and Jigra was released in October 2024. Savi got a collection of Rupees 17.81 crores, and the budget for the movie is Rupees 20 crores. Jigra movie box office collections are Rupees 47.7 crores, and its budget is Rupees 90 crores.
Jigra made a huge loss compared to the two movies, whereas Savi got a bit of a loss. Overall, the two films flopped at the box office and with audiences.

Director and Producer Karan Johar plans to sell his production house Dharma Productions 50% to his friend Adar Poonawalla, the owner of Serum Institute of India.
Karan will have 50% of the stake, and Adar will have 50%. Dharma Productions’ current value is Rs. 2000 crores, so Adar has to pay Rs. 1000 to buy a half stake in Dharma Productions house.
